How do I install a network printer?

Using Internet Explorer go to the following web address:


Internet Explorer (IE) is the only supported browser for printer installation at Okanagan College.

If your laptop/desktop computer is not thawed during the printer installation, when the computer is rebooted, the printer definition will be gone.

Your password must not have expired (even previously installed printers will fail if your password is in "Grace Login Period".

If you are using a laptop and a wireless connection, your VPN must be active.

Click on the appropriate printer location.

1. Click the name of the printer you want to install (ie. Kel-S109-1),

2. Click "Connect" to initiate printer driver installation.

3. Click "Yes" when prompted to install the printer. The installation may take as long as a few minutes. When complete, you may close the browser window.
